Greek Values Awards - Innovation (Nov '14)

In November 2014, the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (FING) and the newspaper Kathimerini recognized Pelopac for our enduring focus on innovation.

Working closely with our partners, we have introduced global innovations such as

• X-ray imaging for sorting of pitted olives (first application worldwide)
• Long shelf-life olives & spreads in clear plastic trays
• Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) for food service & deli olives
• Shelf-stable appetizer dips with NO artificial preservatives, flavors or colors

The Greek Value Awards – Elliniki Axia in Greek –recognize businesses of northern Greece who promote and develop social and economic value in the region through excellence in production, innovation and social and environmental responsibility.
