2 More Gold Star Awards for Pelopac (Aug '14)

We are delighted that two of our products - Kalamata Variety Pitted Olives (snack pouch) and Kalamata Olive Paste – won Gold Stars in this year's Great Taste Awards (UK).

The judges praised the Kalamata Variety Pitted Olives for their "lovely shiny appearance" and noted that "the flavor was clean and fresh with a true intense olive flavor." In the UK, they are marketed under the Odysea/Karyatis brand which is present in all multiple retail chains.

Judges liked the Kalamata Variety Olive Paste for the "lovely sweetness" of the olives and found the product to be "well balanced and fresh tasting."

Great Taste Awards is an international specialty and fine food & drink competition organized by the prestigious Guild of Fine Foods in the UK, and the GTA logo is widely recognized as a symbol of outstanding quality and taste.

We are proud to be able to add these distinctions to our list of accomplishments. Pelopac products have achieved 12 Great Taste Awards since 2004 and have been featured as SIAL Innovations 3 times (2008, 2012, 2014). Earlier this month, we were selected to represent Greece as National Champion for Import/Export in the European Business Awards.
